A little more about me

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll most likely find me on the sofa watching Netflix with a cat or two. I actually love taking a nap, as well as all things cats, Christmas, Harry Potter and 80’s music. I live in Suffolk with my husband Brett and we’ve been married for 10 years already! I love to travel which is super handy as Brett is an independent travel agent, so I'm constantly nagging him to take me on holiday!

I began my career in bridal hair around 13 years ago but I’ve been in the hairdressing world since I was 14, firstly as a Saturday girl and then starting an apprenticeship after leaving school. Fun fact - I never wanted to be a hairdresser, in fact I was just doing it to fill a gap until I was old enough to join the police force which now I find absolutely hilarious because let me tell you, I would not be cut out for that role!

I stayed with that one salon for 10 years but I hated doing any kind of hair up it and would avoid it at all costs. It was then time to venture out on my own and after a few of my regular customers got married and I had a taste of weddings outside of the salon environment, I decided that I would invest in bridal hair education. I found the amazing Kasia Fortuna one day whilst scrolling through Instagram and booked an intensive 1:1 course. This was a pivotal moment in my career and has largely shaped the Stacie Goodwin Bridal Hair you see today.

I absolutely love being a part of your wedding and I feel so lucky that I get to call this my job. I will be excited on your wedding day and I just love to hear about all of the little details so please, tell me everything!
