Booking
To book my services for your wedding day there is a non-refundable booking fee of £75. The booking fee is to secure the date, making it exclusive to you and to cover admin and correspondence. The booking fee is deductible from your final total. After initial contact, you have 48 hours to pay the booking fee. If no payment has been made the date will be made available again to other clients. Please note enquiring only does not secure the date. On payment of the booking fee it is acknowledged that the client agrees to my Ts&Cs. The booking fee is non-refundable, but it may be transferable to a new date, if you need to postpone your wedding and I am available. (Please note, if the new date falls in line with new pricing, the updated price will be charged)
Payment
To secure your wedding day in advance of your trial, there is a non-refundable booking fee of £75, which is to be paid by Bacs. The trial payment is separate from the booking fee and an invoice will be sent to you once your trial is booked. Payment for the trial is to be made 2 weeks prior to the appointment. Payment for your remaining balance is required no later than 4 weeks before the wedding day. After this time, no amendments can be made.
Trial
All trials take place at my salon in Thurston, 5 miles east of Bury St Edmunds. The trial appointment is for up to 3 hours so you can sit back and relax while we create a style you are completely happy with. It is also a good idea to bring photos of your dress, and your hair accessories if you already have them. During peak wedding season (March -October) weekends are exclusively for weddings/occasions so trials are to be booked Mon-Fri. Due to other work commitments I am unable to offer evening appointments at this time.
If a second trial is required, the fee is the same as the first trial.
After the trial, should you wish to cancel your booking you have seven days to notify me via email.
Cancellation by me
Cancellation of the booking caused by me will result in a 100% refund of all funds paid by the client. In the unlikely event that I am unable to make your wedding (personal emergency, severe illness, act of god) I will aim to find you a replacement. This person will be known to me and will be someone I highly recommend.
Cancellation by the client
Any payments that have been made will not be refunded. Cancellation of services less than 90 days prior to the event will result in a charge of 50% of your quote. Any services cancelled within 30 days of the event will be charged at 100%.
Expenses/Additional Fees
Travel is charged at 50p per mile for locations outside a 10 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds and is based on a return journey.
A second stylist will be required if the start time is before 7am. A second stylist may also be needed if the bridal party is more than 5 people or timings are tight, eg; an early ceremony, late entry into the venue etc. There is a fee of £100 to arrange and book a second stylist
Accommodation expenses are incurred if the journey time is more than 75 minutes one way. Any accommodation needs are to be agreed upon booking.
There will be a £25 charge for moving locations. This is to cover time spent setting up, packing away, setting back up and additional travel.
Image usage
Photographs and videos of your hair may be used for social media and promotional purposes (website, portfolio, social media), and can be sent to you as a keepsake from your trial/wedding day. If you do not want these images to be used, please let me know at your trial.
